SUBJECT:

ASEAN LAW ASSOCIATION (ALA) 25 th ANNIVERSAY SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE SESSION ON 24-27 NOVEMBER 2005

The Philippine National Committee of the Asean Law Association is inviting members of the judiciary in the ALA 25 th Anniversary Special Commemorative Session to be held on 24 to 27 November 2005 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Makati City . Registration fee for local delegates is P3,000.00.

Based on Administrative Circular No. 65-2005 dated 26 October 2005 , the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the Sandiganbayan, and the Court of Tax Appeals shall pay for their respective member's registration fees at P3,000.00 per participant. The Supreme Court shall also pay for the registration fees of the executive judges in Metro Manila and of the officials of the Supreme Court.

Further, Other Members of the Judiciary in the first and second level courts may attend the said conference on OFFICIAL TIME/OFFICIAL BUSINESS chargeable to local funds if authorized and available, provided that the court calendars are properly managed and that parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing and that they should inform the Office of the Court Administrator of their participation in the said conference

This amends OCA Circular No. 106A-2005.
