SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. TEODORO D. NANO, JR. FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS AND PERMANENT DISQUALIFICATION FROM BEING COMMISSIONED AS NOTARY PUBLIC
For your information'and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 15 February 2017 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 8169, entitled "Calinico P. Alcano v. Atty. Teodoro D. Nano, Jr.," to wit:
WHEREFORE, this Court finds Atty. Teodoro D. Nano, Jr. guilty of engaging in notarial practice in two separate notarial commissions, and accordingly, SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for six months effective immediately from receipt of this resolution. He is PERMANENTLY DISQUALIFIED from being commissioned as a notary public. He is WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar act in the future shall merit a more severe sanction.
As stated in the Motion for Partial Reconsideration, dated 19 April 2017, respondent received a copy of the aforesaid Resolution on 4 April 2017.
