The Securities and Exchange Commission registered on 23 July 2008 the merger of the GM Bank, Inc. (A Rural Bank) (the surviving bank) and the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Bank, Inc. (A Rural Bank) (the absorbed bank). The Banks started operating as a merged bank on 01 August 2008.
