AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF JUDGES OF SELECTED FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL AT THE MULTI-SECTORAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON AGRARIAN JUSTICE

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with the Agrarian Justice Foundation, Inc. (AGFI), the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Philippine Ecumenical Action for Community Empowerment (Peace Foundation) and the Silliman University, will conduct the Multi-Sectoral Seminar-Workshop on Agrarian Justice for Judges of selected first and second level courts in the Province of Negros Oriental from July 9 to 12, 2006, at the Silliman University, Dumaguete City.

The following judges are required to attend and participate in the seminar-workshop:

The attendance of the participants in this seminar-workshop shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL BUSINESS. All properly documented travel expenses shall be reimbursed.

The participating judges should see to it that their respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing.

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
