As requested in the attached letter of DTI Director Dr. Emmanuel T. Velasco, please be reminded of the agreed procedures in processing L/C applications/amendments covering commodities regulated by the Bureau of Import Services such that AABs should require presentation of the original Certificate of Authority to Import (CAI) issued by said agency.
Strict compliance herewith is enjoined.
