The Securities and Exchange Commission registered on 06 October 2008 the consolidation of Lipa Public Bank, Inc. (A Rural Bank) and Rural Bank of Mataas na Kahoy, Inc. The Banks started operating as Mt. Carmel Rural Bank, Inc. on 05 January 2009.
