REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3699 - AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND SECTION NINE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINE HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "REORGANIZATION ACT OF NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR."

AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND SECTION NINE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINE HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "REORGANIZATION ACT OF NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION. 1. Section nine of Republic Act Numbered Nine hundred ninety-seven, as amended by Republic Act Numbered One thousand two hundred forty-one, is further amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 9. The term 'government', 'agency,' 'instrumentality,' or 'office’, used in this Act means the executive department, bureau, commission, council, board, office, division, service, administration, government-owned or controlled corporation, authority, or any establishment of the National Government, but shall exclude government banking institutions, which are operating under their own charters."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
