ATTENDANCE AT THE TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT (TNA) SEMINAR-WORKSHOPS IN MANILA AND CEBU CITY

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), The Asia Foundation (TAF), and the Project Management Office (SC-PMO), will conduct two seminar-workshops on Training Needs Assessment (TNA) on August 4-5, 2003, at the Manila Pavilion, Manila, and on August 11-12, 2003, at the Marriott Hotel, Cebu City, respectively. The seminar-workshops aim to assist the Academy in evaluating the education and training needs of the Judges, and at the same time orient the Academy's own personnel on the process and conduct of the same. This project is part of ADB-Technical Assistance (ADB-TA No. 3963-PHI) on "Strengthening the Independence and Defining the Accountability of the Judiciary."

The Judges should see to it that their respective court calendars are properly managed and that parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing.

Formal business attire is required. No companions and no substitution of participants shall be allowed.
