SUBJECT:

INTERNATION ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN JUDGES (IAWJ) ASIA-PACIFIC REGIONAL CONFERENCE AND SYMPOSIUM AND THE 14 TH NATIONAL CONVENTION-SEMINAR ON MARCH 4-6, 2009 AT MANILA HOTEL

For the information and guidance of all concerned, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the Court En Banc dated December 2, 2008 in A.M. No. 08-11- 11-SC- [Re: Request of Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro, re: (a) International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) Asia-Pacific Regional Conference and Symposium; and (b) 14 th National Convention-Seminar and General Meeting, Philippine Women Judges Association (PWJA) on March 4-6, 2009, Manila Hotel.]- The Court Resolved to GRANT:

"(a) the request for authority for the women judges who are PWJA members to attend the subject events on official time/official business, chargeable to local funds if authorized and available."

Relative thereto, all concerned judges are hereby authorized to attend the said Conference, Symposium and Seminar on OFFICIAL TIME/OFFICIAL BUSINESS, chargeable to local funds if authorized and available, provided that the court calendar is properly managed and parties are notified of any cancelled hearing.

Judge Amelia C. Manalastas, Secretary of the Association shall submit a report to the Court Management Office, OCA within ten (10) days after the said convention.
