Guidelines are to be observed in diskette reporting of IOS Form I

CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 1993

TO : All Commercial Banks

The following guidelines are to be observed in diskette reporting of IOS Form I:

1. IOS Form I and supporting Schedules 1 to 17 shall be submitted daily to the Foreign Exchange Department (FED) within two (2) banking days after reference date in 3.5 inch high density diskette free of virus, in the prescribed reporting format and should contain complete data as required, starting November 15, 1993 (November 11 transactions).

Parallel run of the IOS Form I in existing report format and in diskette reporting shall continue up to November 12, 1993.

2. All future requests for codes for new clients, creditors, foreign currencies, commodity and foreign country, will be faxed (No. 59-41-54) to the Director of the Foreign Exchange Department (FED) who will secure the codes from the other Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Departments.

3. All future releases of the system will also be coursed through the Director of FED.

4. Diskette may be retrieved from FED two (2) days after submission.

5. Amendments to a previously submitted IOS Form I report diskette shall be submitted in hard copies.

6. Delayed/non-submission/incomplete reports shall be subject to penalties prescribed under Section 91 of Circular 1389. Returned virus-infected diskette shall likewise be subject to penalties starting from the day it was returned until a virus-free diskette shall have been submitted.
