SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. REYNALDO L. HERRERA FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution dated 1 August 2018 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 8007, entitled "Eduardo R. Dee vs. Atty. Reynaldo L. Herrera,' to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court finds respondent Atty. Reynaldo L Herrera GUILTY of breach of the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice and the Code of Professional Responsibility. Accordingly, the Courts SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for six (6) months; REVOKES his incumbent commission, if any; and PROHIBITS him from being commissioned as a notary public for two (2) years, effective immediately. He is WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar acts in the future shall be dealt with more severely.

Let all the courts, through the Office of the Court Administrator, as well as the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Office of the Bar Confidant, be notified of this Resolution and be it entered into respondent's personal record.

In his manifestation dated 19 November 2018, respondent received a copy of the aforementioned Resolution on 13 November 2018.
