SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS OF ATTY. RICHARD BALTAZAR KILAAN AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR ONE (1) YEAR

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the resolution of the Second Division dated 11 November 2013 in Administrative Case No. 9385, entitled "Mariano Agadan, et. al. v. Atty. Richard Baltazar Kilaan," to wit:

IN VIEW WHEREOF, the notarial commission of Atty. Richard Baltazar Kilaan, if still existing, is hereby REVOKED, and he is DISQUALIFIED from being commissioned as notary public for a period of one (1) year. He is also SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months effective immediately, with a WARNING that a repetition of a similar violation will be dealt with more severely. He is DIRECTED to report the date of his receipt of this Resolution to enable this Court to determine when his suspension shall take effect.
