SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. CELESTINO A. CABATO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 21 March 2018 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 8606, entitled "Aquilino H. Baring v. Atiy. Celestino A. Cabato," to wit:

The Court resolves:

(1) to NOTE the manifestation dated February 27, 2018 of respondent Atty. Celestino A. Cabato informing the Court that he has already served his suspension and has paid the additional penalty of P5,000.00 as evidenced by the attached O.R. No. 0203172-SC-EP of even date, with prayer for his reinstatement in the practice of law;

(2) to NOTE the letter dated March 2, 2018 of respondent forwarding the compact disc of his manifestation; and

(3) to consider as LIFTED the respondent's suspension from the practice of law and to ALLOW said respondent to RESUME his practice of law.

The Report dated March 8, 2018 of the Office of the Bar Confidant is NOTED.
