Subject: Currency Exchange Facility (CEF) for Libyan Dinar for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Evacuated from Libya
Memorandum to All Banks No. M-2011-012 dated 3 March 2011 contains the guidelines for the implementation of subject CEF.
To ensure that the PHP10,000.00 limit per returning OFW is complied with, banks are reminded to stamp the amount of Libyan dinar banknotes exchanged by an OFW showing the following details:
CEF Served On: Date _____________________ Amount (Libyan dinar and Philippine pesos) ________________________
Stamping shall be made on the "Limitations" page of the OFW's passport as follows:
For MRRP (Green Passport) - Page 2 For Machine Readable Passport - Page 2 For E-Passport - Page 3
For OFWs without passports but only travel documents, stamping shall be made on the travel document itself.
