CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 1997
TO : All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Intermediaries with Quasi-Banking Functions
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1072 dated October 16, 1996, approved the conversion of Bagumbayan Rural Bank of Marilao Inc. into a thrift bank to be known as the CONSUMER SAVINGS BANK (A Savings and Mortgage Bank).
The Certificate of Authority to operate was signed by the Governor on March 3, 1997.
The bank started operations on March 10, 1997.
