REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1178 - AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND ACT NUMBERED ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE BY PROVIDING THAT THE SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS BE EXEMPTED FROM THE PAYMENT OF ALL TAXES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Act Numbered One thousand two hundred eighty-five is further amended by inserting between sections six and seven thereof, the following:

"SEC. 6-A. All provisions of law to the contrary not-the society is exempted as of July four, nineteen hundred forty-six, from the payment of all taxes on any receipts or income received by it from whatever source."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
