CREATION OF AN AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE SUPREME COURT'S 105 TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ON JUNE 11, 2006

WHEREAS, the yearly traditional celebration of the Anniversary of the Supreme Court highlights significant events and various activities of the Court;

WHEREAS, its celebration commemorates the prime significance of the Supreme Court's foundation and inspires us to have a renewed and reinforced commitment to its betterment in all aspects, for today and in the future;

WHEREAS, as the Court embarks on another year, it looks forward to the celebration of its 105 th anniversary on June 11, 2006, with various festive activities and programs for the occasion;

WHEREAS, pursuant to A.M. No. 99-1-05-SC, the reorganization as well as the creation of new committees may be allowed to enable the Court to easily carry out not only its constitutionally mandated responsibilities, but also those necessarily emanating therefrom;

NOW, THEREFORE, an Ad Hoc Committee is hereby created to conceptualize an apt anniversary theme and to determine specific programs and activities for the celebrations.

The Committee shall be composed of the following:

The Committee chairperson may designate who shall compose its secretariat. The Committee may further form subcommittees, as necessary, to carry out the various activities.

The chairperson and members of the Committee, as well as those of the subcommittees that may be formed, are entitled to the expense allowance authorized under Administrative Circular 13-1999.

This Administrative Circular shall take effect upon its issuance. Issued on this 10th day of February, 2006.
