SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. RENE O. MEDINA FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 31 May 2016 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 5179, entitled "Dionnie Ricafort v. Atty. Rene O. Medina," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the findings of fact of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines are ADOPTED and APPROVED. Respondent Atty. Rene O. Medina is found to have violated Canon 7, Rule 7.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months.

Respondent, thru authorized agent Michael Soriga, received the resolution on 19 August 2016.
