AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF JUDGES OF SELECTED FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO AT THE MULTO-SECTORAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON AGRARIAN JUSTICE

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with the Agrarian Justice Foundation, Inc. (AJFI), the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Initiative for Dialogue and Empowerment through Alternative Legal Services (IDEALS) and the Interchurch Organization for Development Co-operation (ICCO), will conduct the Multi-Sectoral-Workshop on Agrarian Justice for Judges of selected First and Second Level Courts in the Province of Iloilo from November 27 to 29, 2007, at the Centennial Resort Hotel and Convention Center, Jaro Iloilo City.

The following judges are required to attend and participate in the seminar-workshop:

The attendance of the participants in this seminar-workshop shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL TIME.

The participating judges should see to it that their respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing.

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
