SUBJECT:

INCLUSION OF THE COURT SOCIAL WORKERS IN THE MOTORCYCLE PROGRAM OF THE SUPREME COURT MOTORCYCLE, COMPUTER, AND HANDGUN ACQUISITION PROGRAM (SC-MCHAP)

The Supreme Court En Banc in its Resolution dated August 26. 2008 in A.M. No. 08-8-14-SC, (Re: Letter-Request of the Philippines Association of the Court Social Workers, Inc. (PACSWI) for Inclusion of the Court's Social Worker in the Motorcycle Program of the Supreme Court Motorcycle, Computer, and Handgun Acquisition Program [SC-MCHAP].)- Acting on the Letter, dated April 30, 2008 , of Ms. Emma De Leon Estrada Lopez. National President, Philippine Association of Court Social Workers, Inc. (PACSWI), requesting for the inclusion of the court's social worker in the motorcycle program of the Supreme Court Motorcycle, Computer, and Handgun Acquisition Program (SC-MCHAP), the Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the SC-MCHAP Committee and with recommending approval of Court Administrator Jose P. Perez, to APPROVE the aforesaid request of Ms. Lopez for the inclusion of court's social worker in the motorcycle program of the SC-MCHAP, subject to the following conditions:

a)Social Workers with existing computer loans shall not be eligible for motorcycle loans unless they pay in full the said computer loans; and

b) Membership in the PACSWI shall not be made a pre-requisite for the approval of a social worker's motorcycle loan application".
