AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF SELECTED JUDGES OF THE COURTS OF THE FIRST AND SECOND LEVELS OF PANAY AND NEGROS ORIENTAL AT THE ENVIRONMENTAL LAW SEMINAR-WORKSHOP

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme - Global Environment Facility - Small Grants Programme (UNDP- GEF-SGP), International Visitor Program - Philippines Alumni Foundation, Inc., and the Karibon Foundation through the ANEST for Biodiversity Conservation in the Philippines Project, will conduct the Environmental Law Seminar-Workshop for Selected Judges ofPanay and Negros Oriental from February 15 to 17, 2006, at the Iloilo Business Hotel, Benigno Aquino Avenue, Diversion Road, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The attendance of the participants in this seminar-workshop shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL BUSINESS. All properly documented travel expenses shall be reimbursed.

The participating judges should see to it that their respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing.

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
