SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. MARCELITO M. MILLO
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the First Division dated July 6, 2015 in Administrative Case No. 9612 [formerly CBD Case No. 360] (Johnny M. Pesto vs. Atty. Marcelito M. Millo), to wit:
The Court resolves:
(1) to NOTE the manifestation/compliance dated March 5, 2015 of Arvi Jane D. Pesto, adopted daughter of the late Spouses Johnny and Abella Pesto, acknowledging the receipt of five (5) postal money orders in the full amount of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Pesos (f 10,600.00); and
(2) to LIFT the order of suspension from the practice of law for six (6) months, as mandated in the Decision dated March 13, 2013, considering that respondent has fully served and satisfied the penalty imposed on him, and that said respondent is ALLOWED to RESUME his practice of law.
