AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION OF ADDITIONAL JUDGES AND SUPREME COURT STAFF AT THE GLOBAL FORUM ON LIBERTY AND PROSPERITY

The Supreme Court will hold a Global Forum in Liberty and Prosperity on October 18-20 2006 at the Shangri-la Makati Hotel in Metropolitan Manila, Philippines.

The Forum, in partnership with the World Bank, ADB, CIDA, The Asia Foundation, economic prosperity as they relate to the judiciary, the legal profession and the academe. Participants of this Forum will include Chief Justices from foreign jurisdictions, international members of the Academe, international Bar Association, foreign Business Chambers, Development Partners and the Diplomatic Corps.

In view of the foregoing, the following judges of 1st and 2nd Level Courts and Supreme Staff are authorized to attend the above activity:

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.

Participation in the above activity shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL BUSINESS.
