SUBJECT: OPTIONAL WEARING OF OFFICE UNIFORMS FOR LOWER COURT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES

On February 23, 2005, the Honorable Chief Justice HILARIO G. DA VIDE, JR. approved the recommendation of the Bid and Awards Committee (BAC) for Office Uniforms for the Supreme Court and Presidential Electoral Tribunal and BAC for Office Uniforms for the Lower Courts (LCs ) for the OPTIONAL wearing of office uniforms for Calendar Year 2005 effective March 1, 2005 .

In lieu of office uniforms, all lower court officials and employees are hereby required to wear- " appropriate office attire ", as defined in Memorandum Circular No. 03-2005 (re "Guidelines in the Grant of Clothing Allowance and the Wearing of Appropriate Office Attire for Calendar Year 2005"). Strict adherence is required.
