SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. IGMEDIO S. PRADO, JR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 31 January 2018 of the Special Third Division in Administrative Case No. 7447, entitled "Rene B. Hermano v. Atty. Igmedio S. Prado, Jr.," to wit:

Acting on the Report and Recommendation dated December 6, 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) submitting that respondent has fully served the six-month suspension and has paid the full amount of P25.000.00 to the forced heirs of complainant, the Court, upon the recommendation of the OBC, resolves to LIFT the order of suspension from the practice of law imposed on Atty. Igmedio S. Prado, Jr. and ALLOW him to RESUME his practice of law.

Case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED .

The said report and recommendation of the OBC is NOTED .
