SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. PAUL C. ZAIDE FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 31 May 2016 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 10675, entitled "Datu Ismael Malangas v. Atty. Paul C. Zaide," to wit:

WHEREFORE, Atty. Paul C. Zaide is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for two (2) years effective immediately. Atty. Paul C. Zaide is also ORDERED to promptly return to complainant the sums given to him as acceptance fee and docket fees in the amount of P70,000.00, from which should be deducted the amount of P 2,62.3.60 paid as docketing fees.

The Resolution dated 31 May 2016 was received by respondent on 15 July 2016.
