SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ROMEO M. FLORES FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 26 January 2016 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 10753, entitled "Atty. Pablo B. Francisco v. Atty. Romeo M. Flores," to wit:
WHEREFORE, the findings of fact of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines dated June 20, 2013 and August 9, 2014 are ACCEPTED and APPROVED. Respondent Atty. Romeo M. Flores is found guilty of violating Canon 10, Rule 10.01 and 10.03, and Canon 18, Rule 18.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility.
Respondent Atty. Romeo M. Flores is suspended from the practice of law for two (2) years. He is warned that a repetition of the same or similar act shall be dealt with more severely.
In a Resolution dated 7 June 2016, the Court DENIED the respondent's motion for reconsideration. No further pleadings or motions will be entertained. Respondent received the Resolution dated 7 June 2016 on 20 July 2016.
