SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. VICTOR DELA SERNA FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 2 October 2017 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 5763, entitled "Atty. Gabriel Ingles v. Atty. Victor Dela Serna," to wit:

The Court further resolves to APPROVE and ADOPT the Notice of Resolution No. XXI-2015-306 dated April 19, 2015 and the Notice of Resolution No. XXII-2017-801 dated January 27, 2017 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors (Annexes 'A' and 'B'). Accordingly, respondent Atty. Victor Dela Serna is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for one (1) year effective from notice for violation of Rule 8.01 of Canon 8, Rates 10.01 and 10.02 of Canon 10, and Rule 11.03 of Canon 11 of the Canons of Professional Responsibility and for having been previously fined and warned by the Court in another case.

As per Registry Return Receipt No. 16201, respondent received a copy of Resolution dated 2 October 2017 on 14 December 2017.
