SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. DWIGHT M. GALARRITA FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 7 July 2015 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 10662, entitled "Jun B. Luna v. Atty. Dwight M. Galarrita," to wit:

WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Dwight M. Galarrita is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for two (2) years, with a stern warning that a repetition of the same or similar acts shall be dealt with more severely. He is ORDERED to return to complainant Jun B. Luna the amount of P 100,000.00, with legal interest of 6% per annum from February 2006 105 until fully paid, without prejudice to the filing of a collection case for retainer's fee against complainant Luna.

Respondent, thru authorized agent, received the resolution dated 2 February 2016 denying his motion for reconsideration on 6 April 2016.
