SUBJECT : Theft of Cash in the Amounts of US$ 17 Million and HK$ 35 Million in Hong Kong on 12 July 1991
For your reference and guidance, attached is a copy of the letter of Interpol Manila dated August 3, 1995, transmitting the letter of Interpol General Secretariat regarding the theft of cash in the amounts of US$ 17 million and HK$ 35 million in transit in Hong Kong on July 12, 1991.
Interpol General Secretariat requests that the Interpol Hong Kong and the General Secretariat be informed should any of the stolen banknotes be recovered or any details be known about the identity of the offenders.
Please advise all your branches and offices accordingly.
