Extended reserve week period starting December 21, 2001 to January 3, 2002

CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 2001

TO   :  ALL BANKS AND NBQBs

During the extended reserve week period starting December 21, 2001 to January 3, 2002, the following shall be considered as non-reserve days: December 22 to 25, 2001 and December 29, 2001 to January 1, 2002. As such, a bank’s/NBQB’s reserve position as calculated at the close of December 21, 2001 shall be carried over for the period December 22, 2001 to December 25, 2001 while the reserve position at the close of December 28, 2001 shall be carried over for the period December 29, 2001 to January 1, 2002. It is therefore understood that any reserve deficiency at the close of December 21, 2001 shall be applied for the period December 22 to December 25, 2001. While a reserve deficiency at the close of December 28, 2001 shall likewise apply for the period December 29, 2001 to January 1, 2002.
