SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. HERNANDO T. CABRERA
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 28 November 2011, in Administrative Case No. 9247, entitled "[formerly CBD Case No. 05-1552] (Robert Dean S. Barbers vs. Atty. Hernando T. Cabrera)," to wit:
"The Court further resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Board of Governors in the attached Notice of Resolution No. XIX-2011-193 dated J4 May 2011 and the IBP Commissioner's investigation report. Accordingly, respondent Atty. Hernando T. Cabrera is hereby SUSPENDED for six (6) months for negligence with WARNING that a repetition of similar acts shall be dealt with more severely."
