SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. CARNELL S. VALDEZ FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 20 April 2016 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 11009, entitled "Teodorico S. Adarna v. Atty. Carnell S. Valdez and Atty. Ramon Miguelito P. Valdez," to wit:
WHEREFORE, we find respondent Atty. Carnell S. Valdez guilty of violating Canon 16, Rule 16.04 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is meted the penalty of SUSPENSION from the practice of law for six (6) months. He is ADMONISHED for the use of offensive language in his pleadings. The Complainant 104 against respondent Atty. Ramon Miguelito P. Valdez is hereby DISMISSED.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon respondent Atty. Carnell S. Valdez's receipt of a copy hereof. Respondent Atty. Carnell S. Valdez shall inform this Court and the Office of the Bar Confidant in writing of the date he received a copy of this Resolution.
Respondent Atty. Carnell S. Valdez received the Resolution dated 20 April 2016 on 8 June 2016.
