Subject: Banco de Arevalo, Inc. (A Rural Bank) - Establishment and Commencement of its Operation
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 286 dated 6 March 2008, approved the establishment of a rural bank in Sibunag, Guimaras, to be known as "Banco de Arevalo, Inc. (A Rural Bank)". The Bank was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 23 October 2008. Its Certificate of Authority to Operate was issued on 26 January 2009 and it started its operations on 28 January 2009.
