SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. BIENVENIDO BRAULIO M. AMORA, JR. FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 1 August 2017 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 11504, entitled "Ariel G. Palacios, for and in behalf of the AFP Retirement and Separation Benefits System (AFP-RSBS) v. Atty. Bienvenido Braulio M. Amora, Jr.," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court finds Atty. Bienvenido Braulio M. Amora, Jr. GUILTY of violating the Lawyer's Oath and Canon 15, Rule 15.03; Canon 21, Rule 21.01 and 21.02 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of two (2) years. Atty. Amora is warned that a repetition of the same or similar acts will be dealt with more severely.

In a Resolution dated 28 November 2017, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's partial motion for reconsideration, there being no substantial matters raised to warrant the reversal of the questioned decision.
