ALL PRESIDING JUDGES AND CLERKS OF COURT OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURTS AND MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURTS

SUBJECT

REPORTS ON RESTRAINING ORDERS AND WRITS OF INJUNCTIONS

In order to enable this Office to make a study and submit recommendations L.o the Court on refinements or reforms! in the matter of injunctions and restraining orders in the light of present jurisprudence, all Presiding Judges of the Regional Trial Courts and Municipal Trial Courts are directed to submit to this Office within thirty (30) days from receipt hereof, a report on all restraining orders and writs of injunctions issued by them from January 1992 to May 31, 1993.

The report shall indicate the following:

docket number and title of the case in which the restraining orders and/or writs of injunctions had been issued;

The status of the case

a) whether the writs/orders had been lifted:

b) is the case where the writ/order was issued already terminated or on appeal;

c) whether these writs/orders had been set aside by a higher court or pending review before such higher court.

The total number of such writs/restraining orders issued during the period.

The report must be personally signed by the Presiding Judge and respectivee Brach Clerk of Court attesting to the correctness of your report.

Immediate compliance is hereby enjoined.
