[ SC ADMINISTRATIVE CIRCULAR NO. 15-2001, February 16, 2001 ]

RENAMING THE COMMITTEE ON LEGAL EDUCATION AS COMMITTEE ON LEGAL EDUCATION AND BAR MATTERS

Heretofore, at the discretion of the Court, matters pertaining to the Philippine Bar, such as those raised by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) in connection with its affairs, activities and programs or those relative to the Court's policies involving the IBP, have been referred to the Committee on Legal Education for study or evaluation and recommendation.

All matters pertaining to legal education and the Bar are closely intertwined. Hence, there is a need to rename the Committee on Legal Education as Committee on Legal Education and Bar Matters.

ACCORDINGLY, the Committee on Legal Education is hereby renamed as COMMITTEE ON LEGAL EDUCATION AND BAR MATTERS .

This Administrative Circular shall take effect upon its issuance.
