T O : ALL JUDGES OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURTS, EXCLUDING REGIONAL TRIAL COURT JUDGES OF COMPONENT CITIES IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL JUDICIAL REGION.

SUBJECT : SERIES OF SEMINARS ON ELECTION LAWS

In view of the forthcoming elections on May 11, 1998 and to prepare trial Judges for said elections, the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) and the Office of the Court Administrator (OCA), in cooperation with the UP Institute of Judicial Administration (DA), has scheduled a series of one-day Seminars on Election Laws to be held on the following dates and venues:

Regional Trial Court Judges of Regions IV and V, and of the Component Municipalities of Metro Manila

March 18, 1998 (Wednesday) UP law Center, Diliman, Quezon City Regional Trial Court Judges of Regions I to III

March 27, 1998 (Friday) Cebu City (Specific venue to be announced later) Regional Trial Court Judges of Regions VI to VIII

March 30, 1998 (Monday) Cagayan de Oro City (Specific venue to be announced later) Regional Trial Court Judges of Regions IX to XII

These Seminars shall be on OFFICIAL BUSINESS with entitled to per diems/expense allowance chargeable against the allotment for Seminars and Conferences for the Court and reimbursement of actual expenses chargeable against the allotment of lower courts.
