T O : THE CONCERNED REGIONAL TRIAL COURT JUDGES OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION

SUBJECT :

ATTENDANCE AT THE 2-DAY SYMPOSIUM ON "PIRACY AND COUNTERFEITING, A NATIONAL CONCERN" AT THE RIGODON BALLROOM, MANILA PENINSULA ON AUGUST 31, TO SEPTEMBER 1, 1989 (THURSDAY AND FRIDAY), ON OFFICIAL TIME ONLY.

To intensity the fight against piracy and counterfeiting of parents, copyright and trademarks, with the end in view of minimizing if not totally iradicating these crimes against intellectual property, an alliance of businessmen and consumerists named COMPACT (Council to Combat Counterfeiting and Piracy of Patents, Copyright and Trademarks) is conducting a 2-day symposium on "PIRACY AND COUNTERFEITING, A NATIONAL CONCERN" to be held on August 31 to September 1, 1989 (Thursday and Friday) at the Rigodon Ballroom, Manila Peninsula.

Twenty (20) RTC judges in the National Capital Region are invited and hereby authorized on Official Time only, to attend said symposium. They are:
