SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. JESUS B. BONGON AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Court En Bane dated 23 September 2008, in Administrative Case No. 6737 entitled, "Flocerfida S. Lanuzo vs. Atty. Jesus B. Bongon" , to wit:

" WHEREFORE , the notarial commission of the respondent Atty. Jesus B. Bongon, if still existing, is hereby REVOKED, he is DISQUALIFIED from being commissioned as notary public for a period of two (2) years and SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of one (1) year, effective upon receipt of a copy of this Decision. He is WARNED that a repetition of this offense or a similar violation by him shall be dealt with more severely."

In a resolution of the Court En Banc dated 21 October 2008 the Court Resolved to (a) CONSIDER as SERVED the Notice of Judgment dated 23 September 2008 addressed to respondent Atty. Jesus B. Bongon, which Notice of Judgment was returned unserved with the notation 'Moved 1; and (b) REQUIRE Integrated Bar of the Philippines and/or the Office of the Bar Confidant to SUBMIT,. within five (5) days from notice hereof, the current address of Atty. Jesus B. Bongon.
