AN ACT UPGRADING THE EXISTING WAO DISTRICT HOSPITAL IN LANAO DEL SUR FROM ITS PRESENT LEVEL 1 WITH A 25-BED CAPACITY INTO LEVEL 1 WITH AN AUTHORIZED 50-BED CAPACITY AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND
FOR OTHERPURPOSES
Be it enacted by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority in Parliament assembled:
Section 1. Short Title.-This Act shall be known as the Wao District Hospital Upgrade Act of 2022

Section 5. Administration, Management, and Organization. -- The Wao District Hospital shall be under the administrative supervision of the Ministry of Health (MOH) which is hereby authorized to determine and approve the appropriate organizational structure for the management and operations of the facility.
Section 6. Appropriations. -- Funding is hereby appropriated from the Bangsamoro General Appropriations for the upgrading of the Wao District Hospital, including the construction of infrastructures, acquisition of medical and office equipment and the annual budget needed for personal services, maintenance, operations and other expenses for the implementation of this Act, and thereafter, such amount as may be needed for the continued operations of the hospital.
Section 7. Implementing Rules and Regulations. - The MOH-BARMM shall promulgate the necessary Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) within sixty (60) days after the enactment Of this Act.
Section 8. Separability Clause. -- If any provision of this Act or the application of such provision is declared invalid, the remainder of this Act shall not be affected by such declaration.
Section 9. Repealing Clause. -- All laws and regulations under the BARMM government including those passed under the defunct Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM regarding the operations of the Wao District Hospital not consistent with this Act are hereby repealed.
Section 10. Effectivity. - This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in a newspaper of regional circulation in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
