DIRECTING SELECTED OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE SUPREME COURT, COURT OF APPEALS, SANDIGANBAYAN, COURT OF TAX APPEALS, AND THE LOWER COURTS TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE IN THE SHORT-TERM COURSE ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT OF A PERFORMANCE EVALUATION SYSTEM FOR THE JUDICIARY" UNDER THE PAHRDF-SC PARTNERING AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Philippines-Australia Human Resource Development Facility (PAHRDF) has chosen the Supreme Court as one of its targeted institutions in the Philippines to be a recipient of both short-term and long-term scholarships and training programs offered by the Australian government through the PAHRDF which are primarily aimed at improving the capacity of the SC to help alleviate poverty and contribute towards a sustainable and equitable development;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Partnering Agreement entered into by the SC and the PAHRDF, the latter agreed to provide specific funding support to the approved short-term and long-term scholarships and trainings and the SC, to support the implementation of these activities under the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement.
WHEREAS, another short-term course developed for the SC to be undertaken for the year 2007 is the "Development of Performance Evaluation System for the Judiciary" which consists of the following activities:
