SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS OF ATTY. NORBY C. CAPARAS, JR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 16 March 2009 , in Administrative Case No. 6773 entitled, "Lucia Ramos Lopez vs. Atty. Norby C. Caparas, Jr.", to wit:

"Acting on the complaint against respondent, the Court resolves to ADOPT AND APPROVE the Resolution dated 06 February 2009 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines [IBP] Board of Governors. Accordingly, respondent is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months.

The letter dated 06 February 2009 of the IBP transmitting the documents with information that no motion for reconsideration has been filed with the said office is NOTED".

On 09 April 2009 , Atty. Norby C. Caparas, Jr. received the said resolution as per Registry Return Receipt No 42931.
