DIRECTING SHARI'A JUDGES AND CLERKS OF COURT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONSULTATIVE MEETING RE THE SECOND SEMINAR ON STRENGTHENING SHARI'A AND ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with Mindanao Economic Development Council (MEDCo), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Program Management Office of the Supreme Court, will conduct a Consultative Meeting re the Second Seminar on Strengthening Shari'a and Islamic Jurisprudence on 2 September 2005 at the VIP Hotel, Cagayan De Oro City.

Attendance in this consultative meeting shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL BUSINESS. Travel expenses to and from the seminar site will be reimbursable after submission of the required documents.

The participating judges should see to it that their respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing. Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
