For the information and guidance of all concerned, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Second Division dated April 27, 2007 in Administrative Case No. 6854, entitled "Juan D. Dulalia, Jr. vs. Ally. Pablo C.Cruz", to wit:

WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Pablo C. Cruz is guilty of violating Rule 1.01 and Canon 5 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for one year. He is WARNED that a similar infraction will be dealt with more severely.

The respondent's motion for reconsideration of the said decision was denied with finality in the resolution dated August 1, 2007. Respondent received the said resolution on October 18, 2007 per Registry Return Receipt No. 36292.
