SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. ARNEL C. ALCARAZ

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the First Division dated 27 September 2006 T in Administrative Case No. 5321 entitled, "Ramon C. Gonzales vs. Atty. Arnel C. Alcaraz", to wit:

"WHEREFORE, Atty. Arnel C. Alcaraz is found GUILTY of gross misconduct and hereby SUSPENDED for one year from the practice of law, effective upon his receipt of this Decision. He is warned that a repetition of the same or a similar act will be dealt with more severely."

Counsel for respondent received the said decision on 7 November 2006

per registry Return Receipt No. 42524.

In a Resolution, dated 30 July 2008 , the Court DENIED with FINALITY the Respondent's motion for reconsideration thereof for lack of merit.
