SUBJECT: LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. ANSELMO S. ALVANIZ IV

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 30 July 2018 of the Special Second Division in Administrative Case No. 7285, entitled "Milagros F. Balasolla vs. Atty. Anselmo S. Alvaniz, IV," to wit:

"A.C. No. 7285 (Milagros F. Balasolla vs. Atty. Anselmo S. Alvaniz, IV). - Considering the sworn statement dated 9 July 2017 of respondent Atty. Anselmo S. Alvaniz IV, requesting for the lifting of his suspension from the practice of law, with attached certifications from the different courts of the Province of Northern Samar and from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Samar Chapter dated 12 July 2018, all affirming that he has ceased and desisted from the practice of law and has not appeared in any court as counsel from 10 July 2015 up to present for the Province of Samar for the period of his suspension, and considering further that respondent has fully served the order of suspension from the practice of law as mandated by the Resolution dated 17 June 2015, the Court resolves to LIFT the order of suspension against respondent Atty. Anselmo S. Alvaniz IV, and ALLOW him to RESUME his practice of law.

The Court NOTES the Report dated 17 July 2018 of the Office of the Bar Confidant."
