SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. ISIDRO L. CARACOL

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 26 April 2017 of the Special Third Division in Administrative Case No. 7325, entitled "Domiciano F. Villahermosa, Sr. v. Atty. Isidro L. Caracol,” to wit:

The Court resolves to NOTE :

(1) the letter dated November 23, 2016 of Atty. Burt M. Estrada, President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)-Bukidnon, highly endorsing and recommending that respondent Atty. Isidro L. Caracol be reinstated to the practice of law considering the letter dated November 17, 2016 of respondent to said IBP Chapter with attachments of attestations that he has not appeared before the different courts of Bukidnon for more than one (1) year already; and

(2) respondent's motion to lift order of suspension and reinstatement to the practice of law dated February 22, 2017, stating, among others, that he has not appeared nor practiced his legal profession before any court, tribunal or office during the one (l)-year period of his suspension until the present and submitting various certifications from the different courts of Malaybalay City and Bukidnon that respondent has not appeared nor practiced his legal profession before said courts, and a letter from the IBP Bukidnon Chapter, endorsing and recommending that respondent be reinstated to the practice of law.

Acting on the Report and Recommendation dated March 16, 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) finding that respondent has fully served the one (l)-year suspension from the practice of law, as mandated in the Resolution dated January 21, 2015, the Court, upon the recommendation of the OBC, further resolves to LIFT the order of suspension from the practice of law imposed on Atty. Isidro L. Caracol and ALLOW him to RESUME his law practice.

The said report and recommendation of the OBC is NOTED .

Case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED .
