SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS AND PERMANENT DISQUALIFICATION FROM BEING APPOINTED AS A NOTARY PUBLIC OF ATTY. CIRIACO C. CALALANG

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Court En Banc dated 26 November 2013 in Administrative Case No. 9958, entitled "Larry B. Carta v. Atty. Ciriaco C. Calalang," to wit:

ACCORDINGLY, the notarial commission of Atty. Ciriaco Calalang, if still existing, is hereby REVOKED. He is PERMANENTLY DISQUALIFIED from being appointed as Notary Public. He is further SUSPENDED from the practice of law for two (2) years. He is WARNED that the commission of a similar violation will be dealt with more severely. He is DIRECTED to report to this Court the date of his receipt of this Resolution to enable this Court to determine when his disqualification/suspension shall take effect.
