SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ELOISA C. DEL PRADO- BAYANI FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS AND REVOCATION OF HER NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 19 October 2016 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 11295, entitled "Arnel P. Reyes v. Atty. Eloisa C. Del Prado-Bayani," to wit:

WHEREFORE , Atty. Eloisa C. Del Prado-Bayani is found GUILTY of violating the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice and her solemn oath as a lawyer. She is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months. In addition, her present notarial commission, if still existing, is hereby REVOKED and she is DISQUALIFIED from reappointment as a Notary Public for a period of six (6) months from the finality of this Resolution. She is further WARNED that any similar act or infraction in the future shall be dealt with more severely.

To date, respondent failed to file a motion for reconsideration despite receipt on 3 January 2017 of the aforesaid Resolution.
